Gleeks unite! This musical competition pits 12 aspiring performers against one another with the winner receiving a "Glee" fan's dream prize -- a seven-episode guest-starring role on the popular prime-time program. The contestants compete each week in intensive workshops involving singing, dancing, and acting-based assignments. Cast members of the musical comedy appear as guest mentors on each episode of "The Glee Project." Hopefuls are eliminated each episode by a judging panel consisting of "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy, casting director Robert Ulrich and choreographer Zach Woodlee until just one performer remains and earns the guest-starring role on "Glee."
