SVP, Programming, Embassy Row Factual / Rock Shrimp Productions

Kim is the SVP of Embassy Row Factual, and the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning Executive Producer for Rock Shrimp Productions, a partnership formed in 2007 between Michael Davies, celebrity Chef Bobby Flay and Kim to produce all things culinary. Kim and Bobby have a ten year collaborative history that includes the hit Food Network series, Throwdown with Bobby Flay, Grill It! (2009 Emmy Award Winner, Outstanding Culinary Program), Brunch@Bobby’s, Boy Meets Grill, and their latest series, Bobby’s Barbecue Addiction.  Other Rock Shrimp productions include: Alex’s Day Off (2010 James Beard Foundation nominee In-Studio Television Program), 5 Ingredient Fix with Claire Robinson, Kelsey’s Essentials, Dear Food Network, and Effie Award-winning branded online content for Hellman’s with Bobby Flay.

Previous to Rock Shrimp Kim was the VP of Development and Executive Producer at Dan Cohen & Sons in New York City for seven years. In 2005 she won a James Beard Foundation Award as Executive Producer for Bobby Flay: Chef Mentor.  Kim produced/directed the pilot for Throwdown, and developed and was Executive Producer of A Cook’s Tour with Anthony Bourdain, Mario Batali: Full Boil, Eating Out Loud with Ruth Reichl and Bobby’s Vegas Gamble, all for Food Network.  She got her start as an AP on The Martha Stewart Show and has also been a writer, director, and producer for a number of documentary and reality series for A&E, CNN, CBS and the CBC.
